A machine finish is achieved on a wheel by the wheel’s entire face being shaved off, flattening and polishing the surface of the rim. This provides a high shine finish. A machine finish can only be repaired back to factory finish by putting it back through the machine face (CNC) machine. This can be costly and time consuming.
