About Machine Face Wheel Repairs
A machine finish is achieved on a wheel by the wheel’s entire face being shaved off, flattening and polishing the surface of the rim. This provides a high shine finish. You can tell if your wheel is machine finish, as this process leaves tiny concentric lines in the finish making it look somewhat like a CD. A machine finish can only be repaired back to factory finish by putting it back through the machine face (CNC) machine. This can be costly and time consuming.

However, Alloy Action are able to conduct machine face wheel repairs by sanding away the curb damage, filling the gauges and matching the existing colour. This process will leave the wheel close to factory finishing, however you might see a small difference when you look at it closely, take one step back and you will see no difference at all. Alloy Action does machine face wheel repairs on the daily and have not had any unsatisfied customers. Your wheels will still be sealed with a clear-coat which will protect it from water and air that can cause corrosion.
